Mike Bongiorno, italian-american TV presenter, the man who imported in Italy american TV formats like ''The wheel of fortune'' died in Monte Carlo on sept. 8, 2009 at the age of 85. He laid in repose for a few days at the Triennale in Milan before state funerals were held in the Milan Cathedral on September 12, 2009.The service was held by archbishop Erminio De Scalzi. The churchyard was crowded with people crying.
